PowerColor starts shipping their ‘Limited Edition’ LCS Radeon HD6970 Graphic Card – Liquid Cooling System.
E-buyer in the UK (Klomplett in Norway/Sweden and Alternate in Germany) will soon be distributing a limited supply of the first factory fitted water-cooled version of the latest Radeon 6970 graphics card.
Sporting a full EK water-cooling block, this card offers the user greater overclockability whilst reducing the noise levels associated with the air cooling found on the majority of its siblings.
A factory overclock of 925Mhz for the core and 1425Mhz for the memory will greet any lucky new owner straight out of the box.
“The coolest temperatures and the fastest performance is what we guarantee to add into the LCS HD6970 features,” said Ted Chen, CEO of TUL Corporation. “With all the key features come with this latest solution, we believe all these benefits can make it the best solution ever for hardcore gamers and benchmark enthusiasts.”
“The card also comes equipped with Volterra’s digital power solution, maximizing its transforming efficiency and delivering the best output quality through its high frequency feature, enabling the most efficient way to boost up gaming experience.”
I would just love to try a couple of these in Cross-Fire – but so far the only prices available in Europe are for 3995 Kroner through Komplett (with 15 units apparently due in on 3rd February 2011) and also for 449 Euros through Alternate.
According to TUL, the only authorised distributor in the UK will be e-Buyer – which is typical, considering I recently closed my account with them over the non-delivery of an item!

they look absolutely awesome dude, do you have any yet?
I told the agent I cannot deal with e-buyer but not heard back – probably see if I can pick up a pair of 480 hydros instead and slap a 9800 in for PhysX.
harsh looking at them too. newegg still not got em!!!!
There are a couple of links in the blog post to places that seem to have them in stock in Europe – If you are talking egg then you are probably still needing to go keep hunting for a US supplier. Try phoning a store to see if they can order you one. I resent paying for the privilege of speaking to e-buyer.
no what you saying, older vidias still pan the crap outta new ati with some cooling
There is no point spending £800 on a pair of 580′s when you can spank a pair of 480′s with liquid cooling up close to them and pick them up for £300 each [from those jumping to 580's!]
